Monterey County New Progressives seeks to identify, recruit and support candidates who are committed to serving their constituents in their communities, have integrity, are transparent in their actions and are informed and understand the important issues faced by their constituents. Candidates who seek an endorsement from MCNP must exemplify a strong commitment to social, racial, economic, and environmental justice through their actions, and campaign platform.

Recognizing that the best chance for thoughtful, sustainable, equitable policy decisions comes from having a minimum of 30% women in leadership, the MCNP PAC prioritizes the endorsement and financial support of women and their allies.
